Biography

Geeta Bains is an associate at Nordel Law Group LLP who practices primarily in the area of family law and wills.  Geeta deals with all family law matters, including divorce, custody, access, guardianship, child and spousal support and property division.  She also negotiates and drafts separation, cohabitation, and marriage agreements. 

Geeta was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia.  In 1999, Geeta obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Psychology.  She obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree at UBC in 2003.  Geeta was called to the Bar of British Columbia in September of  2004. 

Geeta represents clients in both Provincial and Supreme Court.  In addition, Geeta encourages negotiated settlements for clients through mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution. 

Outside of work, Geeta enjoys reading, traveling, yoga and keeping busy with her daughter, Sienna.
